Train #1 (Westbound)
Units: P42s 1 & 189 (very easy to tell which train this is tonight)
Consist: The usual 6 (2 sleepers, diner, lounge, 2 coaches) before the SAS pickup.
Time: 10:16p (on time at target crossing)

Forgive me for taking the personality of Fox News for the moment, but in light of the incoming Tropical Storm (possible hurricane)for my area, true dedication or mere insanity to shoot this video? You decide.

Three things that do need to be noted:
1) I'm glad to see #1 leading...well, #1. Not that it's of any major impact to running the train, but my thought has been to run the P42 units that correspond to the train number whenever possible, I.E. like tonight, #1 & #189, and then switching the unit order so that you knew it was the same train but heading in the opposite direction, in the same vein that you'd run the Sunset Limited with #2 leading and #167 trailing heading to NOL, then have #167 lead to LAX. I mean, nothing crucial, but it seems like it'd be a fun way to create recognition.

2) This was shot at a quiet zone crossing so that I could make it a quick trip and make sure that I'm prepped for Edouard. There will be another at the Bellaire crossing by request, and then hopefully a few more at Main and Post Oak or somewhere outside the quiet zone.

3) Please let there be no call to come into work at 8:30a because, on my day off, the mini-train decided to run despite the incoming Tropical Storm and the ample amount of time to secure everything in order to be prepared and protect the city's investment.
