British soccer star Wayne Rooney is reportedly in talks to join MLS squad D.C. United this summer in a deal that would pay him nearly $21 million a year. The talks come as the 32-year-old is said to have fallen out of favor with Premiere League's Everton. Rooney joined Everton in July 2017 after spending the previous 13 seasons with Manchester United. Should Rooney join DC United, he would be the third aging former United star to move to MLS in the last 15 months.
