Kevin Smith 'attended his own wake' after heart attack

Kevin Smith believes surviving his heart attacked was like "attending [his] own wake".
The 47-year-old filmmaker and comedian suffered a "massive" heart attack in February this year which could have killed him, and after coming out the other side of the ordeal, Kevin as described the experience was "beautiful", as he's been able to read all the kind words people said about him when he was on the brink of death.
He said: "It's been beautiful. Honestly, it's kind of like I got to attend my own wake, because I lived through it.”
The 'Clerks' helmer believes his brush with death ultimately "saved his life", as he now takes care of his body.
