Best Pakistani Cuisine in Town (Pistachio Restaurant) 4.5 Starz

So in my quest to look for best desi joint in town, I reached Pistachio with not high expectations. The place is 25 minutes away from city center with ample parking. From outside the restaurant doesnt look roomy. But once you step in the high roof and modern chic decor is very inviting. The door was opened by a polite waiter and we were seated at a table of our choice near the window. It was almost 40*C outside but was pleasantly cool inside. We requested the waiter to pull up the blinds a bit so that we could see the food and ambience in good light. We orders food which came in 20 minutes. The seating, tables, chairs are comfortable. The food arrived in copper dishes of different sizes and was piping hot. The mix grill platter had 4-5 pieces of mild, spicy and tangy marinated chicken and meat+chicken kebabs. The barbecue was done perfectly with expected spices and aroma. The next item was Pistachio Special Chicken Biryani which was rices with flavor and color, but spicy with single boneless piece of chicken. We ordered tandoori roti and chicken naan which was baked to perfection. My son wouldnt share it with anyone. The you hard raita was extremely fresh with diced tomatoes, onions and cucumbers. \r
The highlight of the Lunch was Lahori Plain Channey (chickpeas) with perfectly balanced gravy. The portions were a bit small but still adequate for three adults and a kid. We had to takeaway the leftovers which were not much. The waiters were very cordial and asked us if we needed anything at regular intervals. They are multilingual. The place wasnt crowded for a Friday though. \r
When we finished the much and were paying with portable ATM machine, a well dressed pretty lady approached us and enquires how the food was. In mid of the conversation she told us that she was the owner of the business and liked to get feedback from her costumers. She told us that the restaurant was planning to add snacks like chaats, samosa, dahi-bhalla and savory sweets into the mix. Also they are planning to offer Ramadan Buffet at competitive price this year. I could go on, but this has been s long review. Please like and subscribe.
