Tourist snatches live dolphin from beach, carries it over his shoulder

A tourist snatched a live dolphin from a beach in southern China and carried it over his shoulder.

The video, filmed on May 1, shows a man walking along the beach at Hailing Island in Guangdong Province with a dolphin over his shoulder.

According to an onlooker, the dolphin was stranded on the beach and was about to die.

After the man found it, he picked it up and took it to his car.

Since dolphins are protected animals in China, police have launched an investigation and they were on the hunt for the man.

He will face the punishment, according to reports.
