The Thanos of Avengers: Infinity War is actually incredibly different to the comic book version. Visually, they’re the same. He is a towering purple-skinned alien who wields the unlimited power of the Infinity Gauntlet. Thanos backstory has totally changed. His motives for wanting the infinity Stones has also changed.
