Simon Kindleysides becomes the first paralysed man to complete the London Marathon after a 26.5-hour race.

Kindleysides, from Norfolk in England, walked the 26.2-mile marathon course using a "Rex" exoskeleton suit.

Kindleysides was diagnosed with functional neurological disorder and a glioma brain tumour in 2013. This left him paralysed from the waist down, according to UK media.

"I've proven a point: anything is possible," he said in emotional scenes surrounded by friends and family after completing the race.
