Mermaid makes a splash at UK food festival

A mermaid made a splash at the annual Porthleven food festival in Cornwall on Saturday by swimming across the harbour to the delight of children waiting for her.

The mermaid, also known as Laura Evans from St Ives, finished her job in the NHS this week, to become a full-time mermaid.
