Wednesday's market wrap

It was a mixed Wednesday on Wall Street,... as traders weighed strong earnings from Morgan Stanley against somewhat disappointing results from International Business Machines Corporation.
The Dow Jones lost a bit to close at 24,748, while the S&P 500 edged up two points to 2,708.
The tech-heavy Nasdaq, was up zero-point-2 percent at 7,295.
With South Korea announcing its consideration to change the armistice with North Korea into a peace treaty,... political tensions on the Korean Peninsula eased a great deal.
The cheerful sentiment spread to the markets in Seoul -- with Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix adding over two percent each.
The benchmark KOSPI jumped over one-percent at 2,479-point-9,... its highest level since late March.
But the secondary KOSDAQ lost around one-percent to 893, with investors taking profits after the index passed the 900 mark the session before.
