Launch of Planet Hunting Satellite on SpaceX Falcon 9 Rocket

NASA's Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) mission has successfully lifted off on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket at 22:51 UTC, April 18th 2018. The Falcon 9 lifted off from Cape Canaveral's SLC-40 launchpad, TESS will search for exoplanets outside of our solar system that may support lift, like Earth.

The first stage successfully landed on Just Read the Instructions sea-going barge shortly after launch.
