Bobby Shmurda May Be Eligible for Parole in 2020 Law enforcement sources told TMZ that Shmurda’s time could be cut short by two years, After he was previously sentenced to six to seven years in jail back in 2016. The Brooklyn rapper plead guilty to the charges of conspiracy and weapons possession in Sept. 2016 and is credited with time served. Shmurda, 23, has been serving time since his late 2014 arrest on the charges. According to TMZ, his opportunity at parole could vanish if he incurs more violations, like drug possession and fighting.
