On Saturday, the United States' Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley told the Security Council that the US is 'locked and loaded' to deliver further strikes if Syria's President Bassar al-Assad's government once again uses chemical weapons. According to a report by Reuters, Haley said, "We are confident that we have crippled Syria’s chemical weapons program. We are prepared to sustain this pressure, if the Syrian regime is foolish enough to test our will.
