Google to Predict Outcome of Final Four Games Live The company announced plans Friday that it will use data analytics techniques and machine learning during the first half of each game to make predictions on what the end result will be. Google is taking its team of data scientists, technicians, and basketball enthusiasts to San Antonio, the site of the Final Four games, and analyze first half game data against NCAA historical data. Using the Google Cloud platform, and technologies like BigQuery and Cloud Datalab, the Google team will put together a television ad in a matter of minutes.
