According to automotive industry analysts on Wall Street, automation is the cause of Tesla's production hell, as the company struggles to ramp up production of the Model 3. The analysts from Bernstein believe that Elon Musk's ambitious goal to automate automotive production is too risky and complicated. Although automakers have relied on robots for decades during the production process, final assembly has been a task left to humans.
