Google Brings Free Wi-Fi to Mexico The company said Tuesday that it will launch 60 hotspots in Mexico as part of its Google Station project. It's all part of the Google's effort to connect the world after bringing internet to India and Indonesia. It's also Google's first stop in Latin America. Coverage should expand to more than 100 locations before 2018 is over. These hotspots can be found in "high-traffic venues … including airports, shopping malls and public transit stations," Google Station engineering team member Jack Fermon
