In this drawing I use a 4B and a 6B pencil. Any soft pencil that can make dark shading would be good to use.\r

I start with the basic shapes:\r

1. A square\r
2. A rectangle\r
3. An onion dome\r
4. Two smaller domes either side\r
5. Four minarets\r
6. Some arches and a wall\r
7. A reflecting pond\r
8. An avenue of dark trees\r
9. Graded shading.\r
