Authorities in Puerto Rico evacuated homes and closed roads in Hatillo on Sunday, March 4, as waves up to 20 foot slammed into the north shore of the island. This video shows waves drenching a crowd on the seafront at Hatillo.The National Weather Service in San Juan warned residents to stay away from the coastline, forecasting waves 15 to 20-feet high. A local news site, Jornada PR, reported that police had evacuated families from homes on the coast of Mar Azul and nearby Hatillo, and closed roads due to flooding from the sea.
