Huge Waves Slam Puerto Rico's Northern Shores

Authorities in Puerto Rico evacuated homes in Hatillo and closed roads as waves up to 20 foot slammed into the north shore of the island on Sunday, March 4.The National Weather Service San Juan warned residents to stay away from the coastline because of forecasts of 15-20 foot waves. A local news site, Jornada PR, reported that police had evacuated families from homes on the coast of Mar Azul and nearby Hatillo and closed roads due to flooding from the sea.This video shows waves breaking at Mar Azul, knocking over people and sweeping away a car.
