Baby born to mum who didn't know she was pregnant rescued from septic tank
Firefighters in China rescued a newborn baby trapped in a septic tank after a pregnant woman unknowingly gave birth in a toilet.
The video, filmed in Baoji City in northern China's Shaanxi Province on February 28, shows firefighters trying to tear apart the septic tank using hammers and saws.
A firefighter then enters the septic tank through a ladder and carries the infant out.
According to local media, a 20-year-old woman had no idea she had given birth to the baby after going to the toilet.
Staff from a nearby petrol station heard the baby's crying and called the police.
Fortunately, the baby was rescued and was not in danger.
