Former Trump campaign chief Paul Manafort pleaded not guilty in federal court on Wednesday. Manafort only uttered two words during the brief arraignment: "Not guilty." He's due to make a second court appearance later Wednesday in Virginia. He was originally indicted in October on charges of conspiracy and fraud. Judge Amy Berman Jackson set a trial date of Sept. 17.
