Schiff Says President Trump 'Claims Vindication Anytime Someone Sneezes’

Adam Schiff said on Sunday that President Trump "claims vindication anytime someone sneezes."

Democratic Representative Adam Schiff appeared on CNN's 'State of the Union' Sunday and commented on recent indictments against Russian nationals for meddling in US elections.
When asked if the indictments prove that the Trump campaign didn't collude with Russia, Schiff responded, "No, of course not. But this is a president who claims vindication anytime someone sneezes."
Schiff''s remarks came hours after a blistering tweet attack by Trump.
"Finally, Liddle' Adam Schiff, the leakin' monster of no control, is now blaming the Obama Administration for Russian meddling in the 2016 Election. He is finally right about something. Obama was President, knew of the threat, and did nothing. Thank you Adam!" Trump wrote in one of the tweets Sunday morning.
In another recent tweet, Trump, while slamming the FBI, insisted there was no collusion.
"They are spending too much time trying to prove Russian collusion with the Trump campaign - there is no collusion," Trump tweeted Saturday.
The Justice Department on Friday announced the indictments.
"The indictment charges thirteen Russian nationals and three Russian companies for committing federal crimes while seeking to interfere in the United States political system, including the 2016 Presidential election," the department noted in a news release. "The defendants allegedly conducted what they called 'information warfare against the United States,' with the stated goal of 'spread[ing] distrust towards the candidates and the political system in general.'"
