KINGSWOOD COUNTRY was an Aussie comedy broadcast on the Seven Network consisting of 89 episodes over 6 series between 29th January 1980 to 13th September 1984. KINGSWOOD COUNTRY was written & produced by Gary Reilly and Tony Sattler of RS Productions. The sitcom was so popular amongst Aussie households that it twice won the Logie Awards in 1981 and 1982 for Best Comedy. A short lived 1997 revival series simply titled BULLPITT starring only Ross Higgins, had none of the original spark that made KINSWOOD COUNTRY so successful & disappeared from our screens as quickly as it had come.
