2004 Toyota Sienna LE Immobilizer Key Programming - How To

How to program Toyota immobilizer keys. This method worked for my 2004 Toyota Sienna LE and will work for many other late model Toyotas with immobilizer keys. Note that in this video I tried to program 2 keys. The first key worked not problem but the second key couldnt be programmed due to what I guess is my van having the maximum number of keys allowed programmed into the ECU. I purchased a total of 3 keys off of eBay from seller yourkeysupplier for $9 each. His communication is great and I had no problems programming the keys until I hit the maximum limit on my van. Be warned that unless you go to the dealer you will have no way of knowing how many keys you can program into your ECU before hitting the limit. \r

Instructions I followed:\r
\r
1. Using a master key (original key), insert (and remove) it from the ignition 5 times. On the 5th time, leave it in the ignition, then:\r
\r
2. Open and close the drivers door 6 times.\r
\r
3. Remove the master key. The security light should now stay lit red.\r
\r
4. Insert the newly cut key. The security light should be blinking red; wait about 60 seconds until the light stops blinking and turns off.\r
\r
5. Remove the new key. Insert the old master key and start the engine and turn it off.\r
\r
Your new key should have been programmed and ready for use.
