Authorities in Jalisco, Mexico recently intercepted an express mail package containing a sedated two-month-old Bengal tiger cub.

The global mail system is fantastic, allowing people to send and receive all sorts of things from all kinds of places, but it does have its limits. Authorities in Jalisco, Mexico recently intercepted an express mail package containing a sedated two-month-old Bengal tiger cub, notes UPI. The animal was reportedly dehydrated, but otherwise appeared to be in good health.  The blue tub it was shipped in had air holes, but neither food nor water was included in the parcel, according to the Associated Press.
However, it was sent with all the correct paperwork.  The tiger was seized on the grounds of animal mistreatment and has since been relocated to the area's Wildlife Rescue Directorate.
