Pankaj Bajaj Eldeco claims that addressing the low end market (Below 10 Lakh homes) is not possible in India, simply because of construction technology used in the country and the time it takes for clearances from regulatory authorities. The very definition of affordable housing has shifted to homes costing 40-50 lakhs.
