Famous Dorset knob festival cancelled as baker pulls out

Dorset's famous knob throwing festival has been cancelled after knob-makers pulled out.

As this footage from last year shows, knob-tossers flock to the annual Dorset Knob Throwing and Frome Valley Food Festival each year to try to throw their knob the furthest.

However, organisers have been forced to cancel this year’s event after Moores Biscuits, who make the edible knobs, said they would not be providing their knobs this year.

It’s not known why Moores said they would not be involved.

However, according to local media, the event will return next year.
