Good morning,... we had a colder morning than yesterday at minus 8 degrees in Seoul but readings will rise rapidly and by the afternoon we'll see higher temperatures than Wednesday.

As for the highs, Seoul will rise to 1 degree Celsius, Daegu and Gwangju will have highs of 5 and 6 degrees. Most parts will be under mostly sunny skies along with dry weather alerts.

Those of you who are planning some outdoor activities this weekend will need to dress extra warmly, as another round of freezing temperatures are on tap, then icy cold readings will linger into early next week.

With that, let's take a look at the international weather for viewers around the world.

While most cities in the nation will be under mostly sunny skies along with higher afternoon highs then Wednesday, most of North Korea will still have highs below sub zero temperatures.

As for the rest of Asia, Tokyo will see rain clouds moving in later in the day, while that rain will turn to snow by early Friday morning.

Meanwhile, Sydney was meant to be one of the best places in the world to catch a glimpse of Wednesday night's rare super blue blood moon, but the weather wasn't too generous.

Heading to North America, a severe cold snap returns in Chicago on Thursday so dress extra warmly.

As for South America, major cities will be under bright skies... with scorching highs in some parts.

Taking you to Europe,.. heavy snowfall and blizzards hit Moscow and expect to have bone chilling temperatures on Thursday.

Lastly to Africa, nothing seems to be out of ordinary in terms of weather conditions.
