On Saturday, Michigan's attorney general, name a special prosecutor to lead an “open and ongoing” investigation of Michigan State University after campus sports doctor Larry Nassar sexually assaulted athletes over nearly 20 years. Attorney General Bill Schuette said that the independent special prosecutor will work closely with Michigan State police.Nassar was sentenced to 40 to 175 years in prison on Wednesday after he had pleaded guilty to sexual assault charges and some 150 victims.
