Sarah Sanders Blasts CNN For Calling White House Aide ‘Raj Whatever His Name Is’

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders blasted CNN after the network’s Chris Cuomo flubbed the name of principal deputy press secretary Raj Shah.


White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders blasted CNN after the network's Chris Cuomo flubbed the name of principal deputy press secretary Raj Shah. "Last month @CNN put up the wrong picture for WH Principal Deputy Press Secretary @RajShah45 & now they refer to him on air as 'Raj whatever his name is.' #ThisIsCNN," Sanders wrote on Twitter.
The previous slight she referenced to occurred in December.  While sharing comments made by Shah and in regard to President Trump's support for Roy Moore, CNN put up a picture of Dr. Rajiv Shah, who held a position in the Obama administration, notes the Huffington Post. The more recent error involving the principal deputy press secretary happened on Monday morning while Cuomo discussed President Trump's reported "shithole" remark. Cuomo recalled, "… we went to the White House when it happened, Raj whatever-his-name-is didn't back off the words."
