Depuis le 09 novembre 2017, tous les vols en provenance de la Grande Bretagne et de l’Irlande (avec niveau de croisière prévu FL195) doivent planifier l’arrivée standard RNAV 1 OMANI 9P. Cette arrivée standard a été conçue et publiée pour la mise en place d'un nouveau concept d'opération pour l'approche de Chambéry et d'Annecy, SMARTSKI. SMARTSKI vise à améliorer la gestion du trafic aérien dans cette zone lors de la saison de ski et libérer l'espace aérien de Genève de la majorité des arrivées Chambéry et Annecy.

New North-west arrival for flights operating to Chambery and Annecy
Since November 09th 2017, traffic from the UK and Ireland (with Requested Flight Level FL195) must plan the OMANI 9P RNAV 1 STAR to Chambery or Annecy. This new STAR is part of the new concept of operations SMARTSKI applied in the Chambery Terminal area. SMARTSKI aims at improving Air Traffic Managment during the busy ski season, notably by removing from the Geneva terminal airspace the predominant traffic flow of these two gateways into the French Alps.
