According to flight-booking sites Skyscanner and Hipmunk, January is a great time to shop for airline tickets. A survey from Skyscanner of its 60 million users and determined that tickets booked during the first two weeks of January will often offer the best prices on flights for the first half of the entire year. Skyscanner adds that come March domestic flights will be 13% more expensive than in January, while international journeys will likely be 56% more expensive.
