A car deliberately plowed into pedestrians injuring 19 people at a crowded intersection in the Australian city of Melbourne on Thursday. Police said they did not believe the attack to be terror-related. Acting chief Commissioner Shane Patton, said that the driver suffered mental health issues. Jim Stoupas, the owner of a donut shop at the scene, told Reuters the vehicle was traveling up to 62 mph when it drove into the intersection packed with people, hitting one person after another.
