Reddit Launches Improved Mobile App

Reddit Launches Improved Mobile App Reddit is bringing a new user-to-user chat function to the company's a public beta program on iOS and Android. While that's in beta, Reddit is also introducing live comments, which will give users more of a real-time experience, to its iOS app. In addition, there's a new theater mode for viewing images, videos, and GIFs from visual subreddits to make viewing easier. Reddit is also adding new tools for community moderators. Those include a new “mod mode” for iOS and Android that will make it easier for moderators to approve or remove content. Mobile has become a renewed focus of Reddit ever since co-founders Steve Huffman and Alexis Ohanian reassumed control of product development efforts
