California’s synth-pop prodigy Lincoln Jesser is preparing for the release of his debut, full-length album ‘Modern Color’ this fall. Due out on September 23, 2014 via Indie-Pop, the album consists of nine emotionally engaging, feel-good electronic-pop tracks – all written, produced, recorded and performed by Jesser.
“Modern Color is about becoming aware of the full range of emotions and feelings of the collective human experience,” explains Jesser. “The world is at a point where we now have an unprecedented potential to create joy, but also to cause pain and suffering. Our colors are brighter and bolder than ever. I hope listening to this album will help keep people aware that it is up to us to choose how we color our reality.”
Throughout 2014, Jesser has been steadily leaking tracks off the forthcoming album, with each one landing within the Top 10 on the Hype Machine popular charts. His songs “We’ll Be Fine,” “Tops,” “Wicked Son,” “Something Right” and “Certainty” – all to be featured on ‘Modern Color’.
