Alternative rock band, LOWLY HOUNDS, formed in North London in 2014. Comprised of UK and Brazilian nationalities the core members Nicko Varey (guitar/vocals), Edu Bisogno (keys) and Miggy Reynas (drums) were brought together by a love of vintage edge and synthetic soundscapes from the here and now.
The sound is an energetic and dynamic mass and is akin to Fleetwood Mac, Alabama Shakes and Catfish & The Bottlemen.
Their first release, Rolling Road EP, was recorded all live and completed in 3 days and it was released in September 2015 with their first 2 singles 'Along That Rolling Road' and 'Stillness Of The Heart' getting airplay abroad since April '15.
LOWLY HOUNDS recently finished their successful second tour of South Brazil (see quotes) and are planning their 2nd release, LOWLY HOUNDS Stompin’ Ground produced by Mick Quinn (Supergrass, Swervedriver).
