Wendy Sulca is a young peruvian artist who started as an Internet Phenomenon. She has more than 70 million views in all of her YouTube videos. She's has interviews with MTV, Rolling Stone, VICE and has been invited to several events throughout the world.
Her dream is to be respected as a pop singer, also rescuing popular folklore and Andean instruments in her music. She's suffered from bullying since she was a child, and now she wants everyone to know she is a good performer and make her dream come true.
She's formed a band composed of recognized Peruvian indie musicians (Antiheroe, Draco Troglodita and Gonzalo Calmet) and our own soundman here in BalconyTV Lima (Martín Elguera, in the bass).
In her short age, Wendy has toured in the US, Mexico, Spain, Argentina, Colombia and Chile. She has even starred in a movie named "Coach".
Right now, Wendy is composing new music for her official first LP. With more than 220000 followers on Facebook and 330000 on Twitter, we can only expect a bright future for Wendy Sulca.
