King Lotus is the first and only Peruvian band/duo whose songs are built around the concept of featurings. Carlos Torres and Pepe Safra, both musicians and producers formed the band in early 2015 with the purpose of presenting a new musical endeavour under high international standards. Their songs have strong influence from pop and electronic music in English. As they say, "Our goal is to create music that is always one step ahead".
King Lotus selected some of the best artists in the Peruvian music scene in order to be involved in their songs. They were Marié, Lucas Torres and Rodolfo Caceres (aka Wolves as Friends). Singles Save Me Again (feat Marié), Lost and Found (feat. Lucas) and Remember Me (feat. Marié) have been programmed in several local radio stations.A new song (Move your Body) will feature Sofia Hernandez (The Voice Kids Peruvian edition winner) and it will be mixed and mastered by Lewis Pickett (Latin Grammy Award winner, La Gozadera, Gente de Zona).
On April 5th, 2017, King Lotus had their first official concert as the opening act of Justin Bieber´s Purpose World Tour Peru at Estadio Nacional in front of 30000 people.
