Chipotle's Loss Is Qdoba's Gain

The past few years haven't been too good for Chipotle, with E. coli scares, lackluster menu additions, and a weakened reputation. It was announced in November that its founder and CEO, Steve Ells, would be stepping down as the chain works to reorganize. That effort may not matter, however, in the face of competition from Tex-mex rival Qdoba. With better pricing and a more varied menu, qdoba stands to gain from chipotle's lagging market share.
