Key strides are being made in Brexit negotiations. According to reports, the United Kingdom has agreed to continue paying the EU budget until 2020, for an estimated whole sum of £39 billion. But other compromises with European Union negotiators have also been made. For one, the 310-mile Irish border will remain open, as the Irish Republic does not reside in the UK.
