Instead of a January 31 date he had previously set, Arizona GOP congressman Trent Franks said Friday he would resign from Congress effective immediately. The resignation comes amid reports of a probe into sexual harassment allegations made against the congressman. In an email, Franks said in a statement Friday, "Last night, my wife was admitted to the hospital in Washington, D.C., due to an ongoing ailment.
