Officials in Southern California warned that powerful winds would continue to elevate the danger of fire across the region on December 7, as firefighters struggled to contain a number of wildfires.Cal Fire said winds could reach 80 mph in some areas. At least six active wildfires were burning in Southern California on December 6, local reports said, forcing thousands to evacuate.This footage shows firefighters battling a fire at a two-story strip mall in Santa Ana on Wednesday. Local reports said said the cause of the fire was not immediately known. Firefighters were monitoring the fire for embers blown by the windy weather, the report said.
