The Russian Olympic team will not be allowed to attend the upcoming 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea.
According to the International Olympic Committee, the decision follows a 17-month investigation into a state-sponsored doping program.
However, Russian athletes will be allowed to compete individually in a neutral uniform, should they pass a regime of drug tests.
The IOC also barred government officials from attending, and will not fly the Russian flag during the opening ceremony.
