Paying respects to a bike is a popular form of worship in India.
A haunted motorcycle has its own shrine after it was involved in a fatal accident that killed its owner nearly 30 years ago.
Local legend in India has it that the bike kept reappearing at the site of the accident. Police tried trying it up twice and emptying the fuel, but nothing worked. The bike would always find its way back to the fateful spot.
So instead of moving it, locals turned the site into a shrine. Honoring the motorcycle and its past owner, it is believed that praying at the shrine will ensure safe travels.
