On Sunday, Aetna's board of directors approved the health insurer’s sale to drugstore chain CVS for approximately $69 billion. It also comes amid healthcare payers and pharmacies dealing with factors such as the Affordable Care Act, rising drug prices and the threat of competition from online retailers such as Amazon.
