Derek Jeter FIRES Marlins Scout While He Was Still in the Hospital After Cancer Surgery!

There is no doubt that Derek Jeter is beloved in the baseball world. He spent his entire 20-year career with the New York Yankees… and is now the CEO and part owner of the Miami Marlins. But the new front office executive made a really bad call. Marty Scott, a 64-year old, hopped on board with the Marlins in 2011 as a Vice President…. and since then has been doing the work of a Scout. Back in August doctors found a cancerous tumor in his colon when the diabetic was in prep for a kidney transplant. Long story short, under Jeter’s direction Marty Scott was let go just a few days after his colon cancer surgery.
