The 53-year-old actor starred as Captain Jack Aubrey in the maritime war movie helmed by Peter Weir, but despite the film not doing great at the box office and ended a proposed franchise, but now Crowe has teased he does "hear whispers" about a second voyage. However, the film adaptation takes place in 1805, during the Napoleonic wars, instead of 1813 during the Anglo-American War of 1812 and it's reported this was changed in order not to offend American audiences.
