Disgraced movie producer Harvey Weinstein has been hit with the first claims in England for accusations of sexual misconduct. According to The Guardian, an attorney for the accuser, who wishes to remain anonymous, says the lawsuit will escalate into a class-action claim against Weinstein. In addition, the suit also names The Weinstein Company UK and The Weinstein Company in the U.S. Attorney Jill Greenfield says Weinstein’s assaults against her client took place after 2000, and that she will be going to the cops to file a criminal complaint. Weinstein is already being investigated by Scotland Yard for sexual misconduct allegations against him as well.
