Massive landslide buries houses on India highway

Video of a massive landslide burying cars and houses on a national highway following heavy rains in northern India.

Following three days of intense rainfall, a part of the mountain fell away on September 2 in Himachal Pradesh state, burying cars and houses and damaging a temple.

No deaths were reported.

According to local reports, traffic had been blocked by officials after boulders hurtled down from the mountainside.

The incident took place on the Chandigarh-Shimla National Highway near Dhalli Tunnel.
