QUETTA: As many as fifteen bullet-riddled bodies were recovered from Balochistan’s Turbat district on Wednesday, according to the local administration.
The Deputy Commissioner Kech said the bodies were found in Turbat district’s mountainous area of Gerok. All the corpses have been shifted to the Civil Hospital for medico-legal formalities, he added.
He said that their identities have not been established yet.
Talking to ARY News, spokesperson for the provincial government Anwaar ul Haq said a militant organization has claimed the responsibility for killing the fifteen men on its website.
Meanwhile, initial investigation suggested that all the deceased hailed from different parts of Punjab province, including Gujrat, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Wazirabad, and Mandi Bahauddin.
