Comcast Xfinity internet users suffered major outages across the United States

Just after 1 p.m. ET on the East Coast, Comcast Xfinity suffered a major outage. The cable and internet service provider also experienced major outages across the U.S. The outage caused many to lose internet access in the middle of the workday and was eventually restored around 3:30 p.m. ET.
